At this same time, the Washington State Autumn Leaf Festival Association (ALFA) was formed by volunteers in the Leavenworth community to promote the village around the Northwest. Today ALFA is part of Northwest Festival Hosting, an organization that promotes tourism across the northwest. As a member of NorthWest Hosting ALFA attends 14 festivals in 17 cities from Portland to Vancouver, BC and Seattle to Spokane.
